R.E.R.’s collaboration with the up-and-coming illustrator Adam Nickel, which was a unique move for the brand, started when R.E.R. contacted Adam. R.E.R. asked him to create something that both represented the brand and reflected his unique style. He repeatedly exchanged ideas with R.E.R. head Kobayashi, and they ultimately decided on a vintage flat-track racer theme for the illustrations.
Adam is a huge fan of the film On Any Sunday, and Kobayashi’s XR750 was a source of new inspiration for him.

気鋭のクリエイターとRiding Equipment Researchのコラボが実現

気鋭のイラストレーター、アダム・ニッケルとR.E.R.の異色とも言える今回のコラボレーション。
アダムの描く世界観をR.E.Rとして表現したい一ーR.E.R.小林と、幾度となくアイデアについて議論を重ね、
最終的にモチーフはヴィンテージ・フラットトラックに決定。
何よりアダムは映画「On Any Sunday」の大ファンであり、
小林のXR750はアダムに新たなインスピレーションを与え今回のコラボレーションが産まれました。
